Quinton De Kock was named as captain for T-20 Internationals against India in the absence of Faf Du Plessis. For Test matches, Faf Du Plessis has been named as Captain while Temba Bavuma will be the Vice-Captain of the South African Men’s Cricket team. South Africa Men’s Cricket team is touring India to play T20 and Test matches which starts from 15th September at Dharamsala.

George Linde, Left-arm leg-spinner has been called up in the South African National team against India. He is a replacement for Jon-Jon Smuts who failed to pass the fitness test standards prepared Cricket South Africa.

Leg Spinner is playing for South Africa A team in India at the moment and he will be joining the senior team’s squad once they land in the country.

Quinton De Kock has been appointed as the Captain of South African side for the series and Rassie van der Dussen as the vice-captain of the team for the T20 series to be played in India. After the end of T20 Internationals, they will be playing test matches on Indian soil and Faf du Plessis will be the in-charge of test duties.

South Africa is coming to India with an inexperienced side for the T20 Internationals and it will be interesting to see how the new South African players respond on their first tour of India. It will be a cracker of series especially T20s.
