Spain has left out Jaime Fernandez and Ilimane Diop from the Spanish Basketball team for the FIBA World Cup 2019. Spain’s coach believed that the chosen players are the best fit for the World Cup and those who missed out they don’t have to get depressed as they will be looked for in future.

Canada pips New Zealand in overtime thriller
Canadian Basketball team and New Zealand basketball team were playing an exhibition match just before the start of the FIBA World Cup to furnish their practice and get some game time in Sydney.
But the match between Canada and New Zealand turned out to be a thriller as Canada won the game in overtime and defeated New Zealand by just a small margin of 103-100 scoreline. This win for Canada is second on the trot in preparation games.
For the Canadian Side, Phil Scrubb scored 24 points in the game and six assists whereas Kevin Pangos scored 17 points and 9 assists for his team in a nail-biting match.
On the other hand, Corey Webster scored the highest points of the game 33 points for New Zealand but eventually, New Zealand lost the game in overtime.
