Goal Keeper crisis for Liverpool continues to evade them, yet again another goalkeeper of Liverpool is injured due to some freak reason. Tensions continue to haunt them as Adrian after saving the goal and celebrating the save with teammates from nowhere a fan came and injured him.
Adrian was the hero of the game between Liverpool and Chelsea where Liverpool emerged as victorious to win the UEFA super cup. But the win celebration has arisen selection problems for their manager Jurgen Klopp as Adrian’s ankle has swollen up.
How did the injury happen to Adrian?
Liverpool’s goalkeeper Adrian after making a save in the last minute was celebrating with his Liverpool’s teammates but suddenly a crazy fan came from the crowd and security was running behind him due to which that fan slipped while running and gave a slide tackle to Adrian.
With that incident, Adrian’s injury is not looking good for Liverpool’s campaign as the ankle has swollen up. With the match coming up this weekend against Southampton chances of Adrian playing that match looks bleak.
Liverpool has already lost its best goalkeeper due to a calf injury which Alisson Becker faced during the first match victory against Norway. And if Adrian doesn’t get fit in time then Liverpool will have to field an unknown identity between the goalposts.

Now with Adrian’s ankle swollen up and he is not fit in time Liverpool will remain with only two choices for the goalkeeper as they are having a serious shortage of goalkeeper in their club.
Two choices will be Andy Lonergan who is 35 years old and haven’t played a match for Liverpool but has experience of playing in lower divisions of England. The second option would be Caoimhin Kelleher who is 20 years old with no experience.
It is to be seen whether Adrian gets fit in time or not and if he is not fit to play then who will be playing the game against Southampton.
