The USA Men’s Basketball World Cup Team has reached Australia for FIBA world cup and they are ready to do the training there for the World Cup. USA World Cup team includes 13 players:
Harrison Harrison Barnes (Sacramento Kings); Jaylen Brown (Boston Celtics); Joe Harris (Brooklyn Nets); Kyle Kuzma (Los Angeles Lakers); Brook Lopez (Milwaukee Bucks); Khris Middleton (Milwaukee Bucks); Donovan Mitchell (Utah Jazz); Mason Plumlee (Denver Nuggets), Marcus Smart (Boston Celtics); Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics); Myles Turner (Indiana Pacers); Kemba Walker (Boston Celtics); and Derrick White (San Antonio Spurs)
It will be an interesting phase for the USA players and remains to be seen whether the last year finalists will be able to replicate the performance or not. The 2018-20 USA basketball team coaching staff includes Gregg Popovich, Steve Kerr, Lloyd Pierce and Jay Wright.
The USA basketball squad will continue their World Cup camp preparations will start in Melbourne, Australia and they will be playing a couple of practice matches against Australia starting from 22nd August at Marvel Stadium.
De’Aaron Fox an important member of the USA basketball team has withdrawn his name from the American squad that is ready to fly for Australia pre-world cup campaign.
It remains to be seen how things pan out for the Americans during the FIBA World Cup 2019 that is going to start from 31st August in Australia. It will be an interesting season of World Cup this time around as we can say there are more than three strong contenders who can keep an eye on that World Cup this season.
