Ambati Rayudu who announced his retirement during the Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019 and now he is on the way to become India’s Sahid Afridi. Yes, he is back from retirement and says in front of media that he will be available to play the shorter format.
Ambati Rayudu wrote a formal application to Hyderabad Cricket Association stating that he will be available for the shorter format and retirement decision was an emotional one during that time.
It’s just two months that he announced his retirement and now he has been saying that he will be available for the One Day Internationals and T-20 Internationals.
He wrote an e-mail to HCA”s CoA and in which he wrote:
“I would like to bring to your notice that I would like to come out of retirement and play cricket in all formats.” “I want to take this opportunity to thank Chennai Super Kings, VVS Laxman and Noel David, who have been very supportive during the tough time and are instrumental in making me realise that I have enough cricket left in me.
Initially, he was part of World Cup plans but the way Vijay Shankar performed he was the game-changer for Ambati Rayudu who lost his place to him for the World Cup 2019. It will be interesting to see whether he will be wearing coloured clothing in the Next season where T-20 World Cup is set to be played in Australia.
