Ernesto Valverde Barcelona’s Coach has been spot on with decisions this season and now for the clash against Osasuna this weekend he has called 18 players to go with the club in Pamplona. Their next assignment is up against Osasuna in Pamplona which is an away game for them in La Liga.

This will be the third game for Barcelona in La Liga and they have announced their Squad for the third game against Osasuna already.

Squad for Barcelona Next Clash in La Liga

Goalkeepers: 1. Marc-André ter Stegen, 26. Iñaki Peña

Defenders: 2. Nélson Semedo, 3. Gerard Piqué, 15. Clément Lenglet, 16. Moussa Wagué, 18. Jordi Alba, 23. Samuel Umtiti

Midfielders: 4. Ivan Rakitic, 5. Sergio Busquets, 8. Arthur, 12. Rafinha, 20. Sergi Roberto, 21. Frenkie De Jong, 22. Arturo Vidal

Forwards: 17. Antoine Griezmann, 27. Carles Pérez, 31. Ansu Fati

From the above squad announced for the third game is the indication that their senior players are still injured and haven’t recovered yet, so they will be missing this game too.

Players who were injured are: Lionel Messi (calf), Luis Suárez (calf), Ousmane Dembélé (hamstring) and Neto (wrist) miss out due to injury, and they are joined by Junior Firpo who can’t play because of a strained ligament in his left knee.

Jean-Clair Todibo and Carles Alena are not included in the squad due to managerial reasons. One notable inclusion is of Ansu Fati who is a young 16-year old lad has been again selected in the Barcelona squad for the Second game again. It will be interesting to watch him play against Osasuna after his debut whether he will able to emulate the skill sets in the second game too or not.

Another interesting fact that Barcelona will be without their main players and how the things pan out will be really interesting to watch. Someone has to lead from the front to make their team win the away game.
